Discipline and code of conduct
Regular attendance and active participation are essential components of academic success at Dr. G. K. Dongargaonkar Law College. Every student is expected to attend all lectures, practical sessions, tutorials, internal assessments, and examinations with sincerity and discipline.
Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject per semester. Failure to meet this requirement or demonstrate satisfactory academic performance may result in the cancellation of the student’s term and disqualification from appearing for College/University examinations.
Participation in internal evaluations such as periodical tests, assignments, and seminars is compulsory for all students across all years of study. These evaluations form an integral part of the continuous assessment process.
In case of absence from any internal evaluation due to illness or other genuine reasons, the student must submit a medical certificate along with a written application endorsed by the parent or guardian. If a student is absent continuously for more than three days, a leave application signed by the parent/guardian is mandatory.
Students not granted permission to appear for the University examinations due to non-compliance with attendance or academic requirements will not be eligible for re-admission to the college.
We encourage students to uphold these academic responsibilities diligently, as they are vital for building a strong foundation for a successful legal career.
